Witness: Every Face a Story is a figurative art exhibition that explores what it means to see, to feel, and to be seen within routine modern-life.

This body of work invites viewers into quiet acts of observation and connection. Each piece bears witness to the resilience, warmth, and layered humanity of New Orleans — the way people carry the city in their posture, their expression, their silence. The exhibition transforms portraiture into testimony: art as evidence of life, presence, and spirit.

Figurative art and portraiture are acts of witnessing — of seeing and feeling life as it moves through us. Here, to paint a person is to honor a lineage of spirit — a gesture toward connection, community, and the pulse of a city that refuses to stand still.
